what are the advantages and disadvantages of digital photography?

In Digital Photography one can alter the image and manipulate it.  A photographer is also able to review the images and decided which ones he would throw away in an instant. The amount of time is cut short in digital photography when it comes to balancing the contrast and colors of the image. Digital tools are very helpful when someone is trying to take control over their images. Even though digital photography has made things easier for the photographers, it's made things more superficial in a way that people are not experiencing the process of film photography. People become more ignorant of the history of photography.
